The most common remark on entering the 1,000 sq foot apartment is WOW! Or Stunning! Located on beautiful Lake Michigan on Beaver Island. Gorgeous guest apartment with cherry wood flooring, high ceilings, Smart TV, pool table, fully-equipped kitchen, charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal supplied), and washer. and dryer. We now have StarLink for HIGH SPEED Internet, which is uncommon on Beaver Island. Adirondack chairs, swing and fire pit on the shore. Absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and Garden Island. World class dark skies allow for amazing star gazing. Perfect spot to view Northern Lights. Two miles from town and close to sandy beaches.
One bedroom with a Queen size bed is ideal for two guests. The queen bedroom has room darkening shades for a good night’s rest.
The guest house is completely separate from the owners’ quarters. There are no shared walls. A very large garage separates the two homes. When you are enjoying the waterfront, you will have it to yourselves.
Loons fly over the property frequently and their calls are magical. If you’re lucky, you might hear coyotes howling, but that is infrequent. You can bring or rent kayaks as well as stand up paddleboards. We do not have watercraft for your use. If you bring bicycles or kayaks, you can store them in the garage.
There is no smoking permitted inside. We take pride in our thorough cleaning and attention to detail. For example, we wash the blankets and quilts not just the sheets! Please book your stay!

Summary: The rental was wonderful- the convivences of home! The location was quiet and the lakeside seating was peaceful! There were numerous trails to hike-a very back to nature experience!

Summary: Rental was very nice and clean. Check in and mapping was great as well as communication with owner prior arrival. Upon arrival, we found that the AC is not specific to the rental, but part of the main home. Unit was muggy and airflow not the same as in the home upstairs where there is a cross breeze, it should be unit controlled. There are notes in the binder that wood at the beach is not for renter use, and you have to contact host for where to get wood if a fire at beach is desired. We took our car to the island thinking it would easily access all roads, after day one, we realized this was not the case and opted to rent a UTV for taking around the island. We were immediately contacted by the host that they were not approving of this and continued to message us about rules and regulations and how islanders don't support use of such vehicles, though we saw them everywhere. They had information about rules of the island within the binder at the property, and if the host is not agreeable to the use of UTVs should probably post it on their page.Had I brought one over to the island, i would have been forced to park down by the road and off of the property. The island is beautiful and there are many trails to walk, but access is not easy to get to access by car at times. . has.

Summary: Cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean – Trish and Steve's place is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Knowing that logistics of getting to and staying on an island might pose extra challenges, our hostess reached out well before our stay to help us navigate meals, travel, and places to explore. She was incredibly responsive to messages before and during our stay as well. The kitchen is stocked with ample plates, cutlery, cookware and even all necessary spices. We were able to make multiple meals…including grilling out while sitting on the brand-new picnic table overlooking the lake! Speaking of the lake, the views are spectacular, and the swing, bench, and chairs offer a variety of places to relax. Thanks to Trish, we knew to wake up in the middle of the night and walk down to the property beachfront to checkout the most amazing Northern Lights display we've ever seen. We would not hesitate to book Trish and Steve's place again – it was truly an amazing and memorable getaway!

Summary: Probably the nicest & cleanest one bedroom Villa on the island!!! Everything is new and spotless. We brought back-up pans, cups, spices, but they never left our car. They had everything!!! We were able to leave our kayaks down by the waters edge all week and took several trips out into Lake Michigan. Their shore is rocky, so bring water shoes, but bay to the east is sandy and gorgeous. We also had two bonfires down by the water. We highly recommend staying there.

Summary: We went to Beaver Island to explore and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed to the property with champagne and a homemade welcome poster. The apartment was large, clean, modern, and perfect for a three-night stay. We were able to cook and eat in. Trisha and her family were unobtrusive hosts, yet attentive and informational. The lake setting is amazing, and the apartment is minutes from town and sandy beaches. This property is a fabulous option if you are looking for an overnight stay on the island.

Summary: What a lovely place to stay. My husband and I didn’t want to leave. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The views from the beach were outstanding and we can’t speak highly enough of our hosts. We so appreciated their hospitality. It was more like staying at a friend's house than a VRBO.
